Disney World Resort

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is slated to open here in 2009 to much anticipation. Universal Studios Orlando is a fully functioning movie and TV studio where the whole family can get in on the action. SeaWorld Adventure Park

The dazzling animal shows at SeaWorld Adventure Park have been entertaining audiences for decades. Shake hands with a walrus, get a kiss from a seal, feed the dolphins and see the phenomenal choreographed shows in the massive tanks. You can visit beluga whales, penguins, sharks, manatees and turtles. SeaWorld would not be an Orlando tourist park without some outrageous rides. From rollercoaster to water rides, you can have it all at SeaWorld.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens is located west of Orlando in Tampa Bay, Florida. Busch Gardens has loads of great rides like the wooden Gwazi rollercoaster featuring 2 different tracks. The Land of Dragons is set in a magical forest with a huge tree house and cascading waterfalls. The Budweiser Clydesdales remain the park’s favourite attraction.

More Attractions in Orlando

Gatorland is a fabulous park and conservation area for alligators and other species common to Florida’s Everglades. Discovery Cove is an aquatic based theme park with water rides, an aquarium and warm beaches for soaking up the Florida sun. You can ride the waves at Typhoon Lagoon and explore the Titanic at Titanic Ship of Dreams. Wet N Wild and Castaway Creek are popular water parks.

Shopping in Orlando

Shopping in Orlando Orlando takes pride in its malls and boutique shops. The shopping opportunities in Orlando are nearly unfathomable. From little t-shirt and souvenir stores, to mega outlet malls and posh boutiques, shopping is one of Orlando’s favourite activities. Veranda Park is a recent development and is offering a wide array of typical shops. The Florida Mall was greatly expanded in 2006 and features your mainstay stores, but also some very unique shops including gourmet dog food. The Goliath of all shopping complexes must be Prime Outlets Orlando. This is so expansive you’ll need a car to make it all the way around while for a limited time in 2007 there is a free shuttle. For some kitschy classics head to Antique Row. The Point Orlando is a multi-use complex with excellent shopping mixed with eating, drinking and entertaining. In Downtown Disney shopping is an experience rather than an activity.
